Location:Continental Divide Trail South of Cuba, NM
This event is in the past.
This event consists of three trail runs; an UltraMarathon (53 miles), a Marathon (26 miles), and a 30Km run. The Ultra starts before sun up and the last runners finish around 2100 hours. The weather at this elevation and time of year can range from hot and sunny to rain, sleet, or snow. More information may be found at dp50.org/.
Twenty-five watts into fixed antennas with gain will be most likely to succeed. Also, the Pajarito Peak UHF repeater covers the area pretty well. We will be working two shifts at the rest stops near the northerly, start/finish end of the course and a single shift at the southerly rest stops.
If you are interested in a difficult test for both the runners and the communicators, this is the event for you. Please register for the event by clicking the button on this page or drop me an email to let me know if you'd like to participate.
