147.1000 and 443.0000 (Rainbow) are located west of the intersection of Southern and Rainbow in Rio Rancho. They are usually linked to each other and the La Madera Repeater.

443.1000 (Pajarito) is located on Pajarito Peak, north of Cuba. It will normally be unlinked from the Rio Rancho repeaters until weather permits upgrading its equipment. If needed we can link it to the other two repeaters with a remote base radio using over the air commands. Contact Conny N5HC conny@n5hc.com or Gary W5BI w5bi@nmscares.org if you need this repeater linked.

147.0800 (La Madera) is located at La Madera Fire Station 28 in Sandia Park. It is normally linked with the Rainbow SCARES repeaters in Rio Rancho. The repeater is now fully operational. In addition to providing coverage on the east side of Sandia Mountain, in Cochiti, and in Los Alamos, it hears very well on the west side of the mountain. Give it a try.

444.1800 (Portable) is not normally on the air. The repeater will be field deployed in case of an event that requires coverage in a location not covered by other repeaters. SCARES members are advised to pre-program this repeater into their radios.
